This policy describes the cookies and similar browser technologies used by cuddlyteddycraft.com.
Only technologies confirmed in the current version of the website are listed here. If anything changes, this policy will be updated.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits.
Local storage (localStorage) keeps information in your browser until it is removed. Session storage (sessionStorage) keeps information only until the browser tab or window is closed.
Describing these technologies does not mean that all of them are currently used. The sections below explain what is actually in place.
2. Technologies currently used
The public part of this website does not currently set any cookies in your browser. Browser storage is used only in the following ways:
- remembering the language you selected, English or Polish, in local storage,
- briefly remembering your scroll position while you move between pages, in session storage,
- keeping an administrator signed in to the private admin area, only after they sign in.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary technologies are those needed to display the website correctly, to let the enquiry form work, to protect it from misuse, and to authenticate access to the private admin area.
Enquiries are sent directly to our backend and no cookie is stored in your browser for that purpose. Scroll-position storage exists only to make navigation feel natural and is cleared when the tab is closed.
4. Language preference
When you choose English or Polish, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key ct-lang, so the website stays in your preferred language as you move between pages and when you return.
This information stays in your browser, is not shared with advertisers and is not used to identify you. You can change it at any time with the language switcher, or remove it by clearing site data in your browser.
5. Analytics and advertising
Cuddly Teddycraft does not currently use analytics tools, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, behavioural profiling or marketing trackers.
There is also no embedded third-party content or iframe on the website that could set its own cookies.
6. Admin authentication
The private admin area, available only to the owner of the business, uses secure sign-in provided by the Lovable Cloud backend platform. Once signed in, a session token is stored in that administrator's browser local storage, under a key beginning with sb- and ending with -auth-token.
This storage is created only by signing in to the admin area. It does not apply to ordinary visitors and is not used to track anyone browsing the website.
7. Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary technologies do not require separate consent, because without them the website or the enquiry form could not work properly.
The language preference is stored as a result of your own choice and is used only to show the site in the language you selected.
Because no optional technologies are in use, there is no cookie consent banner on this website. A banner offering to “Accept all” would be misleading in this situation. Before any analytics or marketing technology is introduced, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be provided.
8. Third-party service providers
Only providers connected to browser storage are listed here:
- Lovable — the platform on which this website is built and hosted, serving the pages and their essential technical functions.
- Lovable Cloud — the backend that stores enquiries and handles sign-in for the private admin area; it stores a session token only after an administrator signs in.
9. How you can control stored information
You can manage stored information through your browser settings. Browsers generally allow you to:
- delete cookies and website data,
- clear local storage and session storage for this site,
- block cookies entirely or for selected websites.
Blocking or deleting essential technologies may affect how the website works, for example sending an enquiry or accessing the private admin area.
To reset the saved language preference, choose another language with the EN / PL switcher, or clear this website's data in your browser. The site will then open in English on your next visit.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the technology used by the website changes, for example if a new feature or provider is added. The date shown at the top of the page identifies the latest version.
